The Mauritius Film Development Corporation (MFDC) held a press conference today to officially present its programme of activities marking its 40th Anniversary.
This milestone celebrates four decades of commitment to the development of Mauritius’ film and audiovisual industry, while looking ahead to new opportunities for our filmmakers, artists, technicians and industry professionals.
The programme includes Cinema Week, professional workshops, film avant-premières, Sinema dan Vilaz, industry stakeholder registration, and the National Short Film Competition 2026, promoting local talent and Mauritian storytelling.
We look forward to celebrate this important milestone together and continue to build a stronger and more dynamic audiovisual industry in Mauritius.
