MFDC CELEBRATES 40 YEARS – CINEMA FOR ALL! 🎬

As part of the celebrations marking the 40th Anniversary of the Mauritius Film Development Corporation (MFDC) and in line with its Cinema Week initiative, the MFDC organised special cinema screening sessions at MCine Trianon, bringing the magic of cinema to different generations of our community.

Tuesday, 3 November 2026 – A Special Screening for SEN Students

Students from Special Education Needs (SEN) schools enjoyed a screening of “Unforgotten Island”. The enthusiastic participation and full house made this a memorable cinematic experience for all.

Through these initiatives, the MFDC reaffirms its commitment to promoting cinema as a medium of entertainment, inclusion and social connection, while ensuring that the joy of the big screen is shared across generations.
